Saman Samadi started out his career in photography as an abstract artist. The majority of his early photographs were zoomed in on a subject, creating a vague composition of varying shapes and colors. Because of this, it is sometimes difficult for the viewer to recognize what they are looking at, leaving it open to interpretation. Later on, he became interested in candid and documentary photography often shooting in and around New York City. His favorite spots to take candid shots are in busy areas of the city like downtown and midtown Manhattan as well as Park Slope in Brooklyn. Saman is also highly skilled in retouching photographs. He holds a Bachelor and Master of Arts, as well as an Artist Diploma from the New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA). His photographs have won various international contests on Fotor.

Over the past couple of years, Saman has developed his own style, and regularly shoots for all different types of clients including couples, family and children, Fashion, and performing artists.
